May 30, 2008Manalapan - The Manalapan Township Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Manalapan MRC-CERT want to urge all residents who have special needs that may make it difficult to get to safety with family or friends or to a public shelter during an emergency to register into a statewide registry. This registry - the NJ Special Needs Registry - will enable emergency responders at the state, county and local level to locate and safely evacuate people who may struggle to do so on their own.
