Sheds & Fences

All sheds 100 square feet or larger, require a building permit and can only be applied for after first receiving approval from the Zoning Officer.   Two sets of plans must be submitted and signed by the homeowner.  A brochure depicting the shed and it’s details may be submitted in lieu of plans.  All sheds must be anchored at all four corners.

It should be noted that sheds under 100 square feet requiring a Zoning Permit only.  This can be obtained at the Zoning/Code Enforcement Office.

It is required that permits be obtained for fences on properties with inground swimming pools.  Fences must be a minimum of four feet in height to be pool code.  Gates must swing outward and must be self closing and self latching.    Remember, Zoning is a prior approval for all fences.

Also, fences without inground pools on the property require a Zoning Permit only.
