The Manalapan Arts Council and Manalapan Township Committee are pleased to announce the holding of its 5th annual photo contest. The 2013 theme is “Making Memories”. The Contest will be looking for pictures of any event, happening, trip, reunion, gathering or just a special moment in time that for the photographer means something special. Each year’s contest has been very successful as over 200 photos have been submitted in the first 4 years.

The Manalapan Arts Council is looking for performers for the “Future Stars” Stage at Manalapan Day 2013, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Manalapan Recreation Center on June 15th.

Manalapan - The Manalapan Township Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Manalapan MRC-CERT want to urge all residents who have special needs that may make it difficult to get to safety with family or friends or to a public shelter during an emergency to register into a statewide registry. This registry - the NJ Special Needs Registry - will enable emergency responders at the state, county and local level to locate and safely evacuate people who may struggle to do so on their own.
